- Freelance permits are issued by free zones and by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation; which one fits depends on your trade and where you live.
- Gas, high-voltage electrical and structural work fall under local authority rules — check with the municipality and, in Dubai, with DEWA before you take that kind of job.
