How much does HandyMan cost?
Nothing for a client: posting a job and receiving offers is free. Pros pay no commission on what they earn either.
How fast will I get an offer?
It depends on how many pros already work in your city. HandyMan opens market by market, so in a brand-new city it can take a while — and a push arrives the moment the first offer lands.
How do you check the pros?
Some pros have sent documents in for a manual check, and those who passed carry a Verified badge on their card. Everyone else you judge by their portfolio and their reviews — which is exactly why we do not hand the badge to everybody.
Who sets the price?
The pro does, in their offer. You see the price before you accept anything and can put several offers side by side. You then settle up with the pro directly — HandyMan is not part of the payment.
What if something goes wrong?
Every job has a status you can dispute, and the chat with the pro stays in the app as a record of what was agreed. Write to us from Feedback and we step in.
