The work in Dubai
In Dubai a car is dusty by the end of the day and cannot be hosed down in the street or a car park, so doorstep car care is waterless: a spray, microfibre, a steam machine in the basement. Clients on HandyMan describe the car, where it is parked and what it needs, and detailers quote for the jobs they want.

What you need in the UAE
To receive payouts you connect a business account. Have these ready — it takes about ten to fifteen minutes:
- A trade licence or a freelance permit that covers the work, and its number.
- Your Emirates ID (or passport).
- The IBAN of your UAE bank account — that is where your money goes.
- Washing a car with running water outside a designated place is not allowed in Dubai. On HandyMan this category is waterless, steam and interior work only — never a hose, a bucket or a pressure washer.
- Many buildings want a service provider registered with security before entering the car park. Ask the client to arrange it when you agree the time.

Questions mobile car detailers ask
Can I offer a regular hand wash with water?
No. Washing with running water in streets and car parks is not allowed in Dubai, and this category covers waterless, steam and interior work only.
Do I bring my own equipment?
Yes — products, microfibre, and a steam machine or extractor if you offer those jobs. Say in your offer what the visit includes and how long it takes.
How do I get paid?
In the UAE the client pays for the job by card through HandyMan, and you are paid out to your Stripe account after the client confirms the work. How payment, the fees and payouts work is set out in the Terms.
What do I need to receive payouts?
In the UAE payouts go to a business account: a trade licence or freelance permit that covers the work and its number, your Emirates ID (or passport), and the IBAN of your UAE bank account. Stripe asks for them when you connect payouts; HandyMan does not receive copies.
What does it cost to join?
Creating a pro profile is free. You choose the requests you answer and set your own price for each one.
