How much does a cleaner cost in Miami?

What moves the price in Miami
Above the national average and below New York. The seasonal swing is real: rates and availability both tighten in the winter season, and again in the weeks after any serious storm.
Condo towers require approval from the association and often a licensed, insured contractor on their own approved list — not merely someone who is licensed. Anything affecting the exterior envelope will need permits and is not handyman work at any price. Ask the association first; in Miami they will have an opinion.
When the job needs a licensed contractor
Miami-Dade County — Miami-Dade County contractor licensing, alongside Florida DBPR. Florida requires no state licence for minor non-structural work — mounting, minor carpentry, door repairs — but structural work, and each of the trades, requires state certification or registration. On top of that Miami-Dade runs its own county licensing and enforcement under Chapter 10 of the county code, which is stricter than much of the state. Two layers, and the county one is the one people forget.

Will a move-out clean get my security deposit back?
It removes the most common reason for a deduction, which is not the same as a guarantee — a deposit also covers damage and unpaid rent, and cleaning touches neither. Most states require the landlord to give you an itemised list of deductions within a set number of days; photograph the unit empty and clean on the day you hand over the keys, and keep the move-in condition report if you were given one.
What is the difference between a deep clean and a move-out clean?
Who is judging it. A deep clean stops when the place feels right to you. A move-out clean goes after the specific things an inspection looks at — inside the oven and refrigerator, window and door tracks, baseboards, blinds, vent covers, marks on the walls — whether or not you would have noticed them.
Should I book it before or after I move out?
After, with the unit empty, and before the final walkthrough. A clean done around furniture is not a move-out clean, and one booked after the walkthrough is too late to be worth anything.
Hourly or a flat price?
A flat price is the provider's bet on how long your place takes, made after cleaning a hundred like it, and it usually wins if your unit is in ordinary condition. Hourly is the honest way to buy it if the place is unusual in either direction — and ask how many cleaners are coming, because per-person-per-hour and per-hour are very different numbers.
